Bobby Pizazz said ‘This song was born out of an accident… I had taken a train and got snowbound in an Indiana cornfield for 36 hours, we went nowhere… maybe a few feet or two every now and then… so during one of these ‘train try to break free’…It almost threw me off the piano bench in the dining car ..as it did..the force made me slide my hand on my guitar neck and then the song came right then and there… pieces of it I finished much later.. Joe Dudley Sax, Sherman Mitchell Sax Trombone, Randy Huston Tenor Sax lead, Michael Sheala keyboards piano, Howard H Trumpet, Brad Fritcher Trumpet Dewayne Morris bass, Marc Dixon Drums, Annie Pizazz Flute, and Bobby Pizazz vocals rhythm guitar and Harmonica. Anita Carter – Making Believe
From Bobby Pizazz: This song came out when I was about 4 yrs old…I remember my Aunt Alice singing this, Uncle Dick, Uncle Tom, Uncle Art and my dad all playing this song… Aunt Alice taught it to me…it was not long after, that I was singing with my Aunt and Uncles every time they played… Aunt Shirley & Uncle Dick are still here…Love You Both…One thing I always remember… The Music ….and Anita Carter’s voice….every note out of her month was so pure and powerful… like a knife cutting through all the bad, and replacing it with warmth and love with every word she sang,… my Aunts were like that for me …
Now for the Irony of it all… After all these years… I will be joining Anita Carter’s Daughter Lorrie Carter Davis Bennett this coming Monday Night ….
What is the future of OUR Music on Major radio? it’s not … unless we work together, joining the hands of the independents!
Help Us, keep Give Me A Break Radio on the Road. Give Me A Break Radio brings people together and builds involvement in community.
Please help us, help the musical community! One good turn deserves another! Won’t you be someone who “pays it forward?” With funding in schools for the arts and grants for music and art at an all time low in our society, we could use a hand up. ….No donation is too big or too small… thanks in advance for donating to GIVE ME A BREAK RADIO SHOW, on our secure GO FUND ME site, backed by PAYPAL.
Bobby Pizazz, a singer/songwriter/entertainer, never thought about becoming a Radio Personality.
One day, Roy August (Co-Writer of I’m Sittin’Fancy Free) and Bobby were talking, about all the Great Players, Singers, Artists, and SongWriters that are in Nashville, that are going without exposure because the Majors have ignored them and left them behind. Roy suggested a radio show. These talents are some of the Best Players on the planet, who played with some of the greatest artists in the world. Yet, their time to shine never came about. or their time to shine only lasted a short while and they were ripped off by managers and label heads for most of their money. So we felt there needed to be a show that would allow a stage for all these artists and songwriters, to have their time to shine. Express their views, to share their music and a safe place where they can share their thoughts and insights about the music business, the ups & downs and ins & outs, the good & the bad.
That’s why we need YOUR help, to keep Give Me A Break Radio free and on the internet airwaves, So we would greatly appreciate you helping us by donating to Give Me A Break Radio.
Communities need a voice, in this mass deluge of corporate radio. Communities come together and are inspired by each other, when we work together.
We need your help in updating equipment. 2 EarthWork Mics, a new mixing consel that we can take on the road with us, and we are hoping to either fix our van or get a newer Vehicle for travel. We set the Goal at $1000, but are hoping that we raise much more than this. Thank You for your support.
IN MY HUMBLE OPNION : IMHO
“Great radio should be all about the community in which it broadcasts, be it local community or the global community. Like minded people are drawn together, and inspired by new ideas, new business models, and on air personalities that are allowed to be themselves, and share stories of interests for all walks of life. The last thing we need is another Corp. radio station with their boxed in DJ’s who are held to a corporate script and a 40 song playlist bought and paid for by the major labels and major radio corporations. Radio that is advised by high paid corporate consultants who spoon feed the masses what ever crap and belief system they are pushing on the radio airwaves. Major radio is scrambling for new ideas, how to stay afloat in this digital world. A BIG CHANGE is coming. Consumers should have a choice. We welcome your ideas and input.”
Thank You Bobby Pizazz 7/10/2015

“And if he thinks you are one of country music’s enemies — the yes men, carpetbaggers and ass-kissers; the tramplers of tradition and the empty hats with accessorized accents; the hacks who grind Hank Williams under their SUV treads…
